MEST Africa Challenge (MAC) is a Pan-African start-up competition for startups that are ready to scale and expand into new markets. It is now open to all technology startups from five African markets: Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Senegal, and South Africa.
Launched with the goal of providing a stage for technology startups to raise funding, build industry networks, and gain global visibility, the competition has grown to become a key establishment in Africa’s startup technology industry, providing hundreds of entrepreneurs from all over Africa with an unprecedented global platform.
Finalists from each nation will compete on a global platform for up to US$ 50,000 in equity investment and the chance to join the MEST Portfolio and global community at the MEST Africa Demo Day in Accra, Ghana on December 1, 2022.
We assist early-stage software entrepreneurs who are dedicated to developing technological answers to the continent’s most pressing issues while generating income and employment for its citizens. Our internal seed fund provides investments ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 to help these early-stage businesses get off the ground and grow. In addition to finance, MEST provides access to the African tech ecosystem as well as 18 to 24 months of incubation at the MEST hubs.
