The experience of BHP’s onsite employees, who travel to and stay in remote areas while working for the company, will be revolutionised through collaboration with creative businesses.
The Camp to Communities Challenge, which BHP is launching this year, aims to drastically improve the onsite workers’ experience by doing away with the standard worker camp setups and turning them into communities where they can live, learn, and pursue interests while remaining connected to loved ones back home.
BHP is eager to collaborate with businesses that go above and beyond the norms set by the mining sector, with an emphasis on improving the working conditions for employees in four different areas:
access to your house
The following chances will be offered to selected organisations, which will be disclosed in January 2023:
Possibility of engaging in a paid POC with BHP, with the potential for replication throughout the BHP network
Possibility of BHP purchasing your developed solution, opening up new business options for industry and company growth.
